We were tasked with arranging a last-minute private jet charter for a family stranded in Aruba.

Navigating airspace closures to fly a family to their vacation

A high-net worth client and his family requested a last-minute private jet charter after tensions between the United States and Venezuela led to the closure of Caribbean airspace. With widespread flight cancellations leaving them stranded in Aruba, we were tasked with getting them to the next leg of their vacation in Florida at short notice. Charters to the USA were in high demand due to the lack of scheduled services, so we worked fast to pull off a solution.

Our Solution

Routes: Aruba > Miami

Aircraft: Cessna Citation Excel

Despite limited availability of charter aircraft, we leveraged our industry contacts to source a Hawker 800XP within hours of receiving the client’s call. When the operator struggled to obtain a permit, we quickly found an alternative midsize jet and secured an airport slot.

Our dedicated charter consultant worked over the weekend on the last-minute request, keeping the client updated with regular calls and texts. The family made it home to Miami in good time, expressing their appreciation of our ability to come through in a crisis.
