The couple wanted a dedicated aircraft charter to get nearly 200 friends and family there in style.

Flying wedding guests to an Indian palace

Our team in Mumbai were tasked with arranging a dedicated aircraft charter for a high-profile Indian wedding. The couple getting married had hired a lavish palace in Udaipur for the celebrations and wanted to fly there in style, joined by around 100 of their friends and family. We set about finding the perfect aircraft for the trip.

Our Solution

Route: Chandigarh > Udaipur

Aircraft: Boeing 737-800

We initially booked a Bombardier Dash 8-Q400, as the regional turboprop had plenty of space for up to 90 passengers and could complete the short-haul flight at jet-like speeds.

As the wedding plans developed and the guest list grew, a larger aircraft was needed to ensure everyone could still travel on the same flight. Reaching out to operators, we sourced a Boeing airliner with double the amount of seats and generous luggage capacity.

Everything ran smoothly and the wedding party arrived in Udaipur in good time for the final preparations. The couple appreciated our flexibility, telling us afterwards that bringing their guests together had turned the flight into a highlight of their special occasion.

The Finer Details

Personal Touches: We personalised the flight with bespoke headrest covers, featuring the couple’s wedding hashtag and an image of the palace.

Buying Power: Leveraging our industry relationships, we were able to secure the best aircraft for the charter as the wedding plans evolved.
