With their production line at risk of coming to a stop, we made sure this urgent delivery went ahead quickly.

Delivering half a tonne of beer hops to prevent a brewery shutdown

A major Mexican brewery needed an urgent delivery of hops to avoid a production line stoppage at one of their sites. Packed onto a pallet weighing over half a tonne, we were tasked with transporting the hops from Washington, USA. The request came in on a Wednesday evening and needed to be arranged overnight for an early-morning departure. We got straight to work coordinating the time-sensitive request.

Our Solution

Route: Yakima > Mexico City

Aircraft: Dassault Falcon 20

Utilising our up-to-the-minute knowledge of the local charter market, we sourced a Dassault Falcon 20 based nearby, which could transport the cargo quickly with minimal ground time.

As the aircraft wasn’t refrigerated, the sensitive cargo needed to be transported as quickly as possible with minimal exposure to external conditions. With this in mind, our experts liaised with the aircraft operator and ground handlers to ensure customs brokers were ready at each airport, minimising loading and unloading times.
