Logrono-Angoncillo Airport first opened in 1923 as a military airport, and was later converted into a civilian airport in the late 1950s. The airport is served by Iberia Regional who operate flights to Madrid. Logrono-Angoncillo Airport is near Recajo village, and approximately 30 minuet drive to the Hotel Marqués De Riscal and Rioja’s vineyards. The airport has a single runway and a terminal building which opened in 2003 housing numerous passenger facilities. Logrono-Angoncillo Airport unfortunately doesn’t offer any VIP lounges. Should you be travelling by private jet, the airport facilitates the arrival and departure of private aircraft. It is the ideal airport for those wishing to take a short break and explore the wine region and its vineyard tours.
