Kansai International Airport
Opened in 1994 to relieve overcrowding at Osaka International Airport, Kansai International Airport is located in the middle of Osaka Bay on an artificial airport built specifically to house it. Whilst Osaka International Airport deal with the domestic travel, Kansai is made up of two terminals and handles all of the international travel coming into the region. With two runways, Kansai also has the longest terminal in the world, and is the 3rd busiest airport in Japan. On site you'll find plenty of shops and eateries, as well as luxury lounges and other amenities.
