For a short time, billionaire Saudi Prince Alwaleed bin Talal-al Saud was the owner of the most extravagant private jet money can buy, a colossal Airbus A380. The A380 is the largest passenger airliner on the market, capable of carrying over 600 passengers on a commercial flight. The media claimed the prince planned to outfit the aircraft with an over-the-top interior, featuring 20 staterooms and a marble Turkish hammam, but unfortunately for planespotters, he sold the A380 before it was even delivered. The prince’s private jet collection also includes a Boeing 747-400 with a 14-seat dining room, two bedrooms and a throne at the center of the cabin.

Prince Albert II of Monaco is one of the world’s most high-profile environmentalists. As such, he prefers to take the train whenever possible to keep his carbon emissions low, but of course, the prince can’t always rely on the rails and he recently purchased a Dassault Falcon 7X for long-distance state trips. The interior, which was designed by Princess Charlene, features seating for eight passengers, two sofa beds, a modern kitchen and an elegant color palette of cream and dark woods. The aircraft is valued at €40 million ($47 million).

Prince Charles has the UK’s 32nd squadron on call for his world travels. For international flights, he has access to Prime Minister Theresa May’s Royal Air Force Voyager A330 and recently came under fire for using it on a European tour with Camilla, forcing May to book a private jet charter at taxpayers’ expense to an important security mission in the Middle East. While not officially a prince, Prince Rogers Nelson was rock royalty, especially in the eyes of his millions of fans. Prince lived a private lifestyle, preferring the discretion that private jet travel affords, and often relied on charter flights to whisk him to his concerts around the world. Prince’s private jet of choice was a Dassault Falcon 900, which typically features an office, a living room and a private bedroom.
