Flying passengers across Mexico for a solar eclipse

Ahead of a total solar eclipse crossing North America in April 2024, a destination management company needed our help flying a group to watch the spectacle reach land on the coast of Mexico. With an ever-changing manifest of passengers from around the world, our efficiency and expertise were key to planning a successful air charter solution.

Our Solution

Route: Mexico City > Mazatlan

Aircraft: Airbus A320

Many of the 130 passengers were travelling with telescopes as well as regular luggage, so we sourced a 180-seat Airbus A320 with enough space for the group and their belongings.

Our office in Mexico City worked closely with our Flight Services team to coordinate the passenger list and ensure everything was in place for a successful flight.

The Finer Details

Rapid Response: We arranged this aircraft charter within 24 hours of receiving the request.

Flight Representation: Our broker was on-hand at the airport to liaise with the handler, brief the crew and ensure the group checked in smoothly.
