An events organiser urgently needed our help transporting 30 tonnes of merchandise from Hong Kong to a pop concert in Alabama, United States. The client had been let down by another charter brokerage, who were unable to secure an aircraft, but we knew we could find a last-minute solution and get the cargo there in time.
Our Solution
Route: Hong Kong > Huntsville
Aircraft: Boeing 747-400F
We quickly sourced a Boeing 747 – the only aircraft capable of moving this amount of freight within the requested time-frame.
With the merchandise being transported in metal pallets, we found an agent in Hong Kong who could build the pallets, pack the cargo and coordinate airport clearance.
We then liaised with ground handlers at the airport in Huntsville to ensure the freight cleared customs promptly on arrival in the United States.
