Delivering 100 tonnes of urgent pharmaceutical products
A freight forwarder working on behalf of a pharmaceutical company asked us to help fly 100 tonnes of materials from Panama to a factory in China, with a lead time of just two days. Aircraft availability was limited at such short notice and we also needed to arrange last-minute permits and specialist ground handling for the temperature controlled cargo. We set about putting together a time-critical solution for the urgent request.

We worked around the clock to obtain permits at short notice and liaised with the airport and operator to secure specialist handlers.
After making some last-minute equipment changes when the packaging specifications were revised, the cargo was packed onto pallets and loaded via the aircraft’s nose and side doors.
