Leading aircraft charter specialist, Air Charter Service, has promoted the experienced Max Vas to Cargo Director of the company’s Chicago office, as he crosses the pond from the company’s London HQ.
Richard Thompson, President of ACS Americas, said of the appointment: “Max joined ACS more than seven years ago in our London office’s cargo division. Since then, he has grown into an extremely important part of the global team, working his way up to the position of manager in the UK. As we continue to grow our Chicago office, we’ve brought him in to head up the team we have in place here and take them to the next level. The cargo departments across the US have really excelled themselves this year, up 46% year-on-year for the first six months of 2026, so Max is taking over the Chicago cargo team at a very exciting time.
Max added: “I can’t wait to start this new chapter leading our cargo division in the Midwest and looking to expand on the past seven years, with this next step in my career with ACS. We have an amazing cargo team in Chicago and I’m looking forward to expanding what we have here, as well as to working with the teams across the US more closely going forward.”
