Flying stranded Australians home from New Zealand

In September 2021, a travel agent asked us to help fly a group of stranded Australians home from New Zealand, along with several critical workers who were transiting from Europe and the United States.

With Australia’s borders closed due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a private charter was the only way to transport the nine passengers, and we needed to collate the necessary paperwork within a short timeframe to ensure it went ahead.

OUR SOLUTION

Route: Christchurch > Auckland > Sydney

Appareil: Bombardier Challenger 604

We chartered a Bombardier Challenger 604 that was available at short notice and could accommodate the group and their baggage. Our team coordinated a stop in Auckland to collect the connecting international passengers, then worked around the clock to submit the required documentation to the operating airline and border forces in New Zealand and Australia.

THE FINER DETAILS

Rapid Response: We came up with a viable solution within 24 hours of the client reaching out.

Unrivalled Experience: Having already arranged several repatriation charters during the pandemic, we knew exactly what paperwork was needed and ensured all approvals were secured in time.

24/7 Service: Our local team worked around the clock to facilitate this international charter, communicating with parties in several different time zones.
