Finding the right aircraft for a client with Parkinson’s
We were contacted by a high net worth individual in Arizona with Parkinson’s disease, a progressive neurological disorder that affects physical movement. Our client was arranging a family vacation to Florida and wanted to fly everyone there by private jet. Having used us for charters many times before, he knew we could be trusted to source the best aircraft for his medical needs, so we set about finding the ideal solution.
Our Solution
Route: Scottsdale > Palm Beach
Aircraft: Bombardier Challenger 604
Due to our client’s physical limitations, we needed an aircraft with a flat cabin floor, which not all jets have. It also needed to be able to complete the journey non-stop, in order to minimise the number of times the client had to get on and off the plane.
Reaching out to operators, we sourced a Challenger 604 for the group of 10 passengers. As well as offering a spacious and comfortable cabin with wide seats and a flat floor, the super-midsize jet could fly for up to eight hours without needing to refuel. The customer was happy with our selection and everything the flight went off without a hitch.
The Finer Details
Timely Response: Knowing our client had less than a month to plan the trip, we worked quickly and confirmed the private jet charter within a week of the inquiry coming in.
