Visit Paris Fashion Week 2016 By Private Jet

Organised by the French Fashion Federation, Paris Fashion Week started in 1973 and happens twice a year, which may be the best time to visit Paris for fashion fanatics. It‘s one of the “Big Four” fashion weeks with New York, London and Milan. What you might also not have known is that the official French name for Paris Fashion Week is Semaine des Createurs du Mode.

Location

Currently the majority of Paris Fashion Week takes place in Carrousel du Louvre, an elegant underground shopping mall in Paris, while famous designers such as Christian Dior choose instead, to exhibit their collections in some of Paris’s iconic locations, such as the Grand Palais or the Espace Eiffel. Other shows are held at various locations throughout the city.

Date

Paris Fashion Week Spring/Summer shows, will kick off on Tuesday, September 27th and will run until Wednesday, October 5th. Expect to see all the trending designers from last year’s shows, such as Anthony Vaccarello, who will get the show started, followed by Balmain, Christian Dior, Isabel Marant, Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton and Chanel.

It will be Alexander Wang’s last Balenciaga show as creative director of the house, so that’s a show you can’t miss. It has also been revealed that Paris Fashion Week 2016 will be welcoming back Sebastian Meyer and Arnaud Vaillant, who will be bringing out a new collection.

Tickets

Fashion Week shows are exclusive to industry professionals, which means the only way you can get access to the events is by invite. In Paris, however, when designers’ shows have some empty seats, bystanders are usually invited in to fill up the empty spaces; of course, chances are that you will only get your hands on tickets at the lesser known designers’ shows. That does not mean you will miss any of the Paris Fashion Week shows though, as you can watch all the happenings on the Fashion Week live streaming website.

If you’d really like to have a seat at the fashion shows, there is the option to apply for accreditation with the French Federation of Fashion; or you could try making direct contact with the designers.

So, there you have it! That’s all you need to know if you’re planning to charter a private jet to the capital of fashion this September.
