London Luton Airport, which was formerly called Luton International Airport, is the fourth largest London airport and located to the north of the city. The airport is accessible via the M1 Motorway or via Train direct from London St Pancras. The airport has a number of scheduled airlines offering services to European destinations, the majority of them being low-cost airlines. The airport has one runway and one terminal building housing a range of passenger facilities including shops, bars, and VIP lounges. In fact there are three aviation agents at London Luton, each offering luxurious lounges and services to private and business aviation customers. The airport is unusual in the fact that it has a U-shaped set of taxiways which encircle the passenger terminal. London Luton Airport also has a number of car hire services available onsite.
