We had less than 24 hours to arrange a romantic helicopter trip across Paris so a dream proposal could come true for one lucky lady.
OUR SOLUTION
Due to our network of global offices the travel agent knew ACS was ideally situated to help with the logistics of the plan. Though it seemed like a simple request, the challenge was to ensure we complied with local aviation rules that govern Paris – that state a single helicopter tour of the city is strictly forbidden due to security and noise restrictions. To get around this our local ACS office, which is based in the French capital, suggested flying from Paris Heliport to Abbaye des Vaux de Cernay, a charming French châteaux located just on the outskirts of the city. Whilst not part of the original plan, it ensured the stage was set for the return flight.
The travel agent and ACS worked together to coordinate a private tour of the châteaux with a three-course dinner, before the couple’s return journey. Flying close to the Eiffel Tower, the gentleman proposed to his stunned partner with the iconic cityscape framed in the helicopter window. Luckily for him, and for ACS who were keeping a close eye on their flight to ensure everything went smoothly, his now fiancée said yes!

CATERING: ACS provided Champagne and chocolates on board the helicopter for the couple to enjoy in celebration of their engagement.
PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES: We coordinated photo opportunities at various points on board the aircraft and at ground level to capture the magical moments of the day.
